What Do You Want Me to Say: Part 2

June 17, 2021

As the gentleman in the van continued his conversation with me, he made the second point to me saying that I was the youngest in the family and was the one that was in charge of the ministry. He then quoted this scripture found in the Gospel of Matthew.

Matthew 20:16 (KJV)

16 "So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen."

This is something that my brothers and I have laughed about for many years. I do want to say that both of my brothers serve in the ministry with me and support me 100%.

This man does not know me personally, but he was confirming with scripture things that the Lord has said to me over the years. I remember asking him, “Do you know me," and I heard the Lord say to me, not the man, “Of course he does."

It was then that I began to understand that the Lord was giving me an outline of the message I was supposed to speak that night. I started feeling this heaviness lifting up off of me, and the presence of the Lord filling my heart with joy. This is my prayer for you today.

Father, as You have been reminding me of who You see me as, I pray for my friends to be encouraged as well. I break the confusion that has distracted them in forgetting who they are. I pray that this fire being lit in them reach higher and hotter than ever before. In the name of Jesus's, Amen.

Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.

PS: to be continued... “the last point in the message.”
