Ecclesiastes 3:1 states:
"To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven."
Let me ask you a question. What is the purpose of the seasons in the year? You know… Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. I may not be a rocket scientist that could give you all the reasons why He designed it this way, but, I, for one, know that after a cold hard winter, I really enjoy a change in the weather. Don’t you?
I believe that God intended in His plan for mankind to have a time of refreshing, both in our natural lives and our spiritual lives. We just returned from a missions trip to Honduras, Central America, and I feel refreshed. I feel like we are coming out of a hard season right now, and I’m looking forward the changes in the seasons that life’s challenges have presented to us.
Update: In fifteen days we held over seventy-five meetings with signs, wonders, and miracles taking place in every service. We had salvations in all of the services as well as on the streets of all the cities that we traveled to.
There were people receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I prayed personally for fifty-five people to receive the baptism in one church alone.
From the church house to the drug and alcohol rehab center to the prison just out side of the City of La Cebia, the people that God hand-picked to work along-side with me only enhanced this season in my journey and I have been refreshed.
Father, my heart is filled with purpose and a hope for the next season to come. I pray for all my friends that walked through those hard times with me. In Jesus's name, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
