John 15:16 (KJV)
16 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."
Update: Last night's service was without a doubt a powerful move of God. It was a small gathering of people, but it was a big God steering that ship through praise and worship. We then turned the service over to Mike Manzi to bring the Word from the Lord.
A man came up to me after the service and shared part of his testimony with us. He said sixteen years ago he was in a service that we held in San Pedro and he remembered Danny, Dane, and myself being there. He said he did not remember who it was that prayed for him but it changed his life forever.
He had been in a backsliden state and he’d been asking the Lord to forgive him. That’s the only way he would pray for months. I believe it was Dane that spoke words of life over him. He told him. "YOU ARE FORGIVEN." He then commented on Mike's message saying that the exact words that were spoken to him that night were the words spoken to him those sixteen years ago.
He then made a profound statement saying that the seed that was planted then is still producing fruit today. He said "You have know idea the impact that you have made upon this nation." My heart was deeply touched to hear those words from this gentle servant of God.
Father, I am truly humbled that You would chose to use me as a vessel to bring honor to Your name. Help me to keep planting seeds in Your Kingdom. In Jesus's name, Amem.
Blessings on the journey and remember that the best is yet to come.
