Romans 3:23
23 “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Notes taken from "Life Is In the Blood" by Larry Ollison.
"Without the blood of Jesus you will die short of the glory of God.'Toward us in all wisdom and prudence.' Wow, isn’t that great? His grace abounds toward us. We are blessed because God favors us. God favors us because of grace. He gives us favor when we don’t deserve it.
Ephesians 1:7-9, we learn
“… His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will….”
"Here in this scripture God says, 'He has made known to us the mystery of His will.' It is His desire to make it known to us. It may be a mystery to the world, but it is not a mystery to us because we have the revelation of the Word.
"The blood of Jesus did away with sin once and for all. He bore the sins of many–that is for all of us who believe. When we see Him again, He will be apart from sin. Sin is gone–done away with completely. The devil thought he had killed Jesus, “by the sacrifice of Himself.” If the devil had known what was going to happen when Jesus laid down His life, he and the demon hosts wouldn’t have crucified Him.
"First Corinthians 2:8 says, “Which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” Satan is afraid of the blood. He would have never killed Jesus if He had known what the blood would do. That is why we must understand the significance of Jesus’ blood.”
Thank You, thank You, Jesus, You’re so good to me and I thank You for Your blood shed at Calvary. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come!
