Ephesians 1:7
7 “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”
Testimony: I remember singing a song as we would march down Bourbon Street in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. We would march through thousands of people who had no idea why we were even there, but our God had redeemed us from a life that was leading us to the pit of hell. He sent us into the darkness of the night to rescue as many people as we could and offer them life.
He Paid a Debt:
“He paid the debt He did not owe,
I owed the debt I could not pay
I needed someone to wash my sins away
And now I sing a brand new song,
Amazing grace
Christ Jesus paid the debt
I could never pay”
Jesus redeemed us by paying the price we couldn’t pay. He is our Redeemer. “The riches of His grace” means that He has the ability to do through you the thing that you can’t do. He is so rich in grace that He can provide enough grace for every single person to do the thing that they cannot do for themselves.
Father, in those moments of desperation, we thank You for Your amazing grace to deliver us from death, hell, and the grave. Thank You for giving us a life that is eternal with You in heaven. In Jesus's name we pray, Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come!
