Great is Thy Faithfulness

November 16, 2021

Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)

22 "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, Because his compassions fail not.

23 "They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness."

When we left Tela this morning we prayed for the wait staff of the hotel. Tears began to flow down many of their faces as the tender compassion of the Lord began to touch their hearts. The manager said that she remembered when we prayed for one of there employees to receive Christ into her heart many years ago. They were very closed friends and two weeks later she was killed in an automobile accident. She has never forgotten that day and was greatly encouraged that we were praying for them again.

All of them said that they knew Jesus, but some of them were living in sin. As they repented, God was healing them in their emotions. We saw many give their hearts back to the Lord. Then Tony spoke to them about receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak in tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance, just like in the Book of Acts.

Mark 16:17-18 (KJV)

17 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 "They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

Thank You, Father, for Your Word gives us direction for our lives. In Jesus's name, Amen

Blessings on the journey, and remember the best is yet to come.
