James 2:18
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
Testimony: We were getting ready to go out too one of the largest parades in the USA. It was being held in the downtown part of the city in Indianapolis.
One of the guys asked us in our large group meeting where we were going to set the band up so he could orchestrate the street coordination for the event.
I told him we where going to set up where we always did every year in the past. So we would be setting up at Acapulco Joe’s Restaurant.
Over the last three years the Restaurant was under a new owner and he didn’t want us out in front of his place.so we moved across the streets. Now our speakers are pointed right at his location instead of away from it. He stood out in the middle of the street yelling at us but we just smiled and kept playing and preaching . The next year he got the veterans hotel to refuse to let us play out front of their place, so we moved across the street and got permission to set up there. Hey I figured that there is still one more corner to go to so we were going to that one praise God.
Know the Restaurant is under new ownership again. When we arrived there was a barricade on that street. There was a police officer there who was letting the cars go in and out.
The group was praying for favor while I talked to him about where we could park to unload our equipment. He told me at least three time that we should go down to the the next street. I asked him if he minded if I talked to the new owner of the Restaurant first.
The new owner agreed to let us set up in front so guess what happened next. We played there for four hours. We Eat lunch at the new place we’re the food was good praise God. He invited us back next year and will set up a buffet for our whole group.
