Romans 4:20-21 (KJV)
20 "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God:
21 "And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform."
Being strong in faith... Giving glory to God... Being fully persuaded.
Here are three powerful points being made here to help bring you through any unbelief to receive what God has promised you. And He (God) is well able to bring it to pass. Praise God.
Sometimes it gets a little difficult to look past the circumstances that come across your path. In this scripture it says that "he staggered not at the promises of God." Abraham, even though he was about 100 years old, didn’t even consider himself too old to see God's promise fulfilled in his lifetime. He refused to consider the deadness of his wife Sara’s womb through unbelief. Instead he was strong in his faith, giving glory to God.
I woke up this morning dreaming about someone that I care about very much. She was standing up against some tremendous trials, but has shown to be strong in her faith. Praise God. I saw her taking a stand against it.
When you are standing in the ocean off the shore line, if you stand facing the waves head-on it can knock you down, crushing you under its powerful currents. But if you stand sideways, you are still facing the ocean, but now you can rock back in froth from one leg to the other and overcome the force of the waves hitting you.
Father, help us to take our stand in Christ, not wavering, but standing strong in our faith and finishing our race, being fully persuaded to march on victoriously. In Jesus's name, Amen and Amen.
Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
