Be Rooted and Grounded In Faith

July 19,2022

Colossians 2:6-7 (KJV)

6 "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

7 "Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."

What does it mean to be rooted in faith?

“Being rooted in Christ means establishing strong roots or a strong foundation in Christ. Rooting yourself to Jesus means establishing a strong faith and reliance on Jesus so that you will not fall or be tossed around during trials.”

Believing in a higher power is a nobel thought at best, but it can only lead you to a life that’s filled with many regrets. We use to sing this song a lot.

"Jesus Is the Answer" byAndraé Crouch:

"Jesus is the answer for the world today

Above Him there's no other

Jesus is the way

Jesus is the answer for the world today

Above  Him there's no other

Jesus is the way

If you have some questions

In the corners of your mind

And traces of discouragement

And peace you can not find

Reflection of the old past

They seem to face you every day

There's one thing I know for sure

That Jesus is the way

I know you got mountains

That you think you can not climb

I know that your skies have been dark

You think the sun won't shine

In case you don't know

I'm here to tell you

That the Word of God is true, yeah

And everything that He's promised

I tell you He would do it for you

Let me tell you that Jesus is the answer"

Thank You, Father, for helping me to dig down deeper into the things of Jesus Christ. I owe my life to you.  Amen,

Blessings on the journey, and remember that the best is yet to come.
